Can neck ultrasounds catch cancer spread sooner?

NCT ID NCT05956795

Summary

This study aimed to see if regular ultrasound scans of the neck lymph nodes could help find the spread of a high-risk skin cancer earlier. It planned to enroll patients with this specific cancer on their head or neck and monitor them for two years. The goal was to compare if this monitoring led to better outcomes than the standard care patients received in the past.
