New ultrasound model aims to spot dangerous pregnancy complications before birth
NCT ID NCT07236060
Summary
This study aims to create a better ultrasound test to tell the difference between two serious pregnancy conditions: placenta accreta and uterine scar weakness. Researchers will use standard ultrasound scans on 50 women in their third trimester who have had a previous C-section and a low-lying placenta. The goal is to build a model that helps doctors make a more precise diagnosis before delivery, allowing them to plan for the safest possible care.
