First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested whether using ultrasound to guide a needle during pharmacopuncture therapy helps reduce shoulder pain more than the usual method without ultrasound. Forty adults with moderate to severe shoulder pain from a torn rotator cuff tendon took part. The goal was to see if the ultrasound-guided approach leads to better pain relief and shoulder function.
