Doctors test ultrasound to improve accuracy of throat injections and exams
NCT ID NCT06579989
Summary
This study is testing whether using ultrasound during common office procedures for throat, voice, and swallowing problems is helpful and practical. It will involve 200 adults who are already scheduled for procedures like nerve blocks for cough or injections for weak vocal cords. Researchers will measure if ultrasound makes the procedures easier for doctors, more comfortable for patients, and provides better images of throat anatomy.
