Cheaper bladder test could replace costly MRI scans

NCT ID NCT06323109

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple ultrasound can do the same job as an MRI for measuring how well the bladder works in people with lower urinary tract symptoms (like trouble urinating). Researchers will compare results from both scans in 80 adults. If ultrasound works, it could become a cheaper and more available way to diagnose bladder problems.
