New ultrasound scan could spot gum trouble before It's too late
NCT ID NCT06480825
Summary
This study is testing a new, high-frequency ultrasound tool to see if it can better detect early gum inflammation (gingivitis). Researchers will compare ultrasound images of the gums from 40 healthy volunteers and people with gingivitis. The goal is to see if this tool can spot subtle changes in gum tissue that might signal the start of disease before it causes serious damage.
