First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using lung and heart ultrasound can help emergency doctors give the right treatment faster to older adults (over 65) who come to the ER with sudden breathing trouble. About 504 participants will be enrolled. The goal is to see if ultrasound reduces the chance of starting a treatment that later turns out to be wrong.
