First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares two dental implant approaches for people with bone loss in the upper jaw. One group gets very short (4 mm) implants, while the other gets longer (8 mm) implants plus a bone graft. The goal is to see if the shorter implants lead to better patient satisfaction, less pain, and fewer complications. About 35 adults with healed extraction sites will take part.
