New drug shows promise for fatty liver disease in Mid-Stage trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called UBT251 for people with MASH, a serious liver condition. The goal is to see if the drug can improve liver health without making scarring worse. About 156 adults with moderate to advanced liver scarring will receive either UBT251 or a placebo for 48 weeks.
