Half-Face study aims to banish bruising from cosmetic injections
NCT ID NCT06665594
Summary
This study is testing if adding a medication called tranexamic acid (TXA) to standard hyaluronic acid filler injections can reduce common side effects like bruising, swelling, and pain. In this 'half-face' study, 40 participants will receive the filler with TXA on one side of their face and the filler alone on the other side for comparison. Researchers will then ask participants to track their bruising, swelling, and pain to see if the TXA side recovers better.
