First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having a friendly turtle in the room can help children aged 6 to 10 feel less anxious during routine dental checkups. Half the kids will have the turtle present, while the other half will not. Researchers will measure anxiety using special surveys and check their pulse to see if the turtle makes a difference.
