NCT ID NCT07289243
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares a standard surgery (TURP) with a newer laser procedure (TPLA) for men with urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate. About 80 men will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see if the laser method works as well as surgery at relieving symptoms, with possibly a shorter hospital stay.
