NCT ID NCT07383389

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study checks if a Turkish version of the Respiratory Distress Observation Scale (RDOS) is accurate for patients in intensive care who cannot tell doctors they are struggling to breathe. Researchers will compare the scale's scores with carbon dioxide levels measured by a breathing monitor in 64 adults. The goal is to give doctors a reliable tool to spot breathing distress and improve care for non-communicative patients.
