NCT ID NCT07527234
First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is translating and testing a new cognitive assessment tool called ECCA for Turkish-speaking patients who receive electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). ECT can cause temporary memory problems, and current tests may not catch all the changes. The researchers will compare the ECCA with standard tests in 90 adults aged 18-65 to see if it works better for monitoring thinking and memory during ECT.
