New brain test aims to spot cerebral palsy in babies sooner
NCT ID NCT07182513
Summary
This study is testing a Turkish version of a brain exam for high-risk infants, like those born very early or with low birth weight. The goal is to create a reliable tool that doctors and therapists in Turkey can use to spot signs of cerebral palsy and other brain development issues as early as possible. Researchers will check if the exam works well by having different therapists use it on the same babies and by comparing its results to other standard tests over the babies' first year.
