Summary

This study tested a new, less invasive laser treatment (TU-FLAP) against standard surgery (TURP) for men with an enlarged prostate causing bothersome symptoms. 56 men were randomly assigned to one of the two procedures and monitored for a year. The goal was to see if the new laser is as safe and effective at improving urine flow and reducing symptoms.
