Summary
This study looks at whether the drug troriluzole can slow the worsening of spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA), a rare brain disease that affects movement. Researchers compared 909 patients who took troriluzole for up to 3 years to similar patients who did not receive the drug. The goal is to see if treated patients have less decline in coordination and walking ability.
