HIV patients may soon get shorter, simpler injections
NCT ID NCT03913195
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether Trogarzo, an HIV medication, can be given safely as a quick IV push (over 30 seconds) or as a muscle injection instead of a longer IV drip. It involved 43 people with stable HIV who were already taking Trogarzo, plus some healthy volunteers. The goal was to see if these faster methods keep drug levels high enough to control the virus.
