New triple therapy aims to tame tough diabetes

Summary

This study tests a combination of three diabetes drugs (metformin, SGLT-2 inhibitor, and GLP-1 receptor agonist) versus other oral medications in adults with type 2 diabetes who have poor blood sugar control. The goal is to see which combo works better at lowering blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol. About 430 participants aged 18-75 will be enrolled.
