New heart valve device trial aims to help patients avoid Open-Heart surgery

Summary
This trial is testing a new device called the LuX-Valve Plus system to treat severe tricuspid regurgitation, a serious heart valve leak. It will compare the new device to a conventional one called EVOQUE in 680 patients with symptoms like shortness of breath and fatigue. The goal is to see if the new device is safe and effective at controlling the disease without requiring open-heart surgery.
