New hope for hard-to-treat breast cancer: experimental drug targets tumors after other treatments fail

Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new drug called bulumtatug furvedotin (BFv) in people with triple-negative breast cancer that has returned or spread and who have already tried certain other treatments. The study aims to see if the drug can shrink tumors or stop them from growing. About 52 participants will receive the drug at different doses to find the best balance of safety and effectiveness.
