New pill shows promise against tough lung cancer

Summary
This study tests a new daily pill, TRI-611, in adults with advanced ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer. The first part finds the safest dose; the second checks how well it shrinks tumors in people who have already tried other ALK-targeting treatments. Participants take the drug as long as it helps and is safe.
