Trial tests pill vs IUD for Post-C-Section bleeding
NCT ID NCT07229209
Summary
This study compared two standard treatments for women experiencing abnormal bleeding linked to a scar from a previous cesarean section. 166 participants were randomly assigned to receive either birth control pills or a hormone-releasing IUD for six months. Researchers tracked changes in bleeding patterns, pain, and the scar itself to see which treatment was more effective.
