New program aims to boost HIV prevention among black women facing violence

Summary

This study tests a program to help Black women in Baltimore start taking PrEP, a medicine that prevents HIV. The program addresses challenges like intimate partner violence and racism that can make it harder to access PrEP. About 300 Black women who are HIV-negative and at risk will take part.
