Summary
This study aims to see if updated criteria for activating trauma teams reduce mistakes—either calling a team when not needed or missing a serious case. Researchers will compare data from 5,000 trauma patients treated at Methodist Dallas Medical Center before and after the new rules took effect in November 2024. The goal is to make sure the right patients get the right care quickly.
