NCT ID NCT05744375
First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This phase 2 trial aimed to see if trastuzumab deruxtecan (Enhertu) could help people with HER2-positive breast cancer that had spread and did not respond to standard first-line therapy. Only 2 participants were enrolled before the study was terminated early, so the results are very limited. The drug was given every 3 weeks by IV.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new first-line treatment option for HER2-positive breast cancer patients whose cancer has not responded to standard therapy.
What could go wrong
