First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether Transcendental Meditation (TM) can reduce stress and improve well-being in 30 nurse managers. Researchers will measure telomere length and telomerase activity—biological markers linked to stress and aging—along with surveys on burnout, work-life balance, and flourishing. Participants either start TM right away or wait a few months, and the study compares the two groups.
