Summary
This study tested a new device called a transcatheter pulmonary valve (TPV) in 15 people with congenital heart disease and a faulty pulmonary valve. The goal was to see if the implant could safely improve blood flow through the heart. Participants received the valve through a tube inserted in a blood vessel, avoiding open-heart surgery.
