Summary

This study tested whether an injection of tranexamic acid can help stop bleeding in the stomach or intestines. 48 adults with active bleeding were randomly given either the drug or a placebo. The main goal was to see if the drug reduced the chance of bleeding again within 28 days, and also to check overall survival.
