Cool spray may ease birth control implant pain

Summary
This study tests if a cooling spray called Pain Ease can reduce the pain of the numbing shot given before placing the Nexplanon birth control implant. About 70 people getting the implant will rate their pain. The goal is to make the procedure more comfortable.
