First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a medicated foam applied to the skin for people with hidradenitis suppurativa, a condition that causes painful lumps. The foam, called roflumilast, may help control symptoms when used alone for mild cases or alongside other treatments for more severe disease. Researchers will also study how the drug changes gene activity in the skin. The study involves 10 adults and lasts about 4 months.
