First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study will test whether a gel containing dutasteride (0.05%) works better than a standard triple-combination gel (clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, adapalene) for treating facial acne in 50 adults aged 18 and older. The researchers will count pimples, check skin improvement, and monitor side effects over 12 weeks. People with severe acne, those on other acne treatments, or with certain health conditions cannot join.
