First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste with stannous fluoride can reduce tooth sensitivity better than a potassium-based toothpaste or a regular fluoride toothpaste. 123 adults with sensitive teeth used one of the three toothpastes for 7 days. The goal was to see which toothpaste provided the most relief from pain caused by touch or cold air.
