Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste containing stannous fluoride works better than a standard fluoride toothpaste to control bad breath. 49 healthy adults with bad breath brushed twice daily with each toothpaste during separate periods. Trained judges smelled participants' breath at different times to measure any changes in odor intensity.
