First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a desensitizing gel (UltraEZ) can reduce tooth sensitivity during in-office bleaching without harming the whitening effect. Thirty healthy adults with darker tooth shades received bleaching treatment, and their pain and color change were measured. The goal was to find a way to make whitening more comfortable for patients.
