Summary
This study investigated whether measuring two specific proteins (IL-8 and IL-10) in blood could help predict the success of treatments for inflamed tooth pulp. Researchers compared 40 patients who received either a procedure to save the tooth pulp or had teeth extracted for orthodontic reasons. The goal was to determine if these protein levels could serve as markers to guide dentists in choosing the most effective treatment approach.
