Scientists hunt for pain fingerprints in your gums

NCT ID NCT07289074

Summary

This study aims to understand severe tooth pain by measuring two specific chemicals in the fluid around the gums. Researchers will compare these chemical levels in painful teeth versus healthy teeth in the same person. The goal is to see if these chemicals can serve as reliable signs to help dentists better diagnose painful dental conditions.
