New gel aims to save jawbone after tooth loss
NCT ID NCT07099846
Summary
This study is testing whether a special gel mixed with a bone graft material helps preserve jawbone better than natural healing after a tooth is pulled. Forty adults needing a single tooth extraction will be randomly assigned to receive either the gel treatment or just let the socket heal on its own. Four months later, all participants will get a dental implant placed using a fully digital planning process, and researchers will measure how much bone was preserved.
