New hope for MOGAD patients: drug aims to stop relapses

Summary

This study tests whether tocilizumab can safely prevent relapses in people with MOGAD, a rare autoimmune disease that attacks the nervous system. About 102 participants aged 12 and older with recent relapses will receive the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug delays the next relapse.
