Magnetic pulses target brain to ease Schizophrenia's hidden symptoms
NCT ID NCT07290738
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can improve the 'negative symptoms' of schizophrenia, such as social withdrawal, lack of motivation, and reduced emotional expression. Researchers will compare stimulating two different brain areas against a sham (placebo-like) treatment in 20 participants. The goal is to see if this approach can help manage these difficult-to-treat symptoms and improve daily functioning.
