First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested two non-invasive brain stimulation methods—high-frequency rTMS and theta-burst stimulation—in 108 adults with major depression. Participants received 10 sessions over two weeks. Both treatments reduced depressive and anxiety symptoms, with no major difference between them. The goal was to see which approach works better for mood and anxiety.
