Can magnetic pulses boost stroke recovery?

NCT ID NCT06639360

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation can help people recover better after a stroke. Researchers will compare real stimulation to a sham (fake) treatment in 60 adults who recently had a clot-removal procedure. The goal is to see if the treatment reduces brain damage and improves neurological function.
