New injection could ease jaw pain after wisdom tooth extraction

Summary
This study tests whether a nerve block injection can reduce jaw muscle pain after wisdom tooth removal. About 80 adults who have jaw pain the day after surgery will receive either the injection or a placebo. The goal is to see if the injection lowers pain, improves mouth opening, and reduces the need for pain medication.
