Summary
This study tested a combination of joint washing (arthrocentesis), platelet-rich plasma, and an anti-inflammatory drug (COX-2 inhibitor) in 20 adults with a displaced jaw joint (TMJ). The goal was to improve jaw movement, reduce pain, and stop clicking. Results are not yet available, but the approach aims to control symptoms rather than cure the condition.
