Summary

This study looks at 20 people with severe temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems who need surgery. Researchers will examine their symptoms, jaw tissue, and microbial DNA to better understand what causes these conditions and how patients recover after surgery. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment.
