Summary
This study tested two different injections for people with a painful jaw joint condition called TMJ internal derangement. Twenty patients received either Botox into a jaw muscle or platelet-rich fibrin (a concentrate from their own blood) into the joint space. Researchers measured pain, jaw movement, and joint sounds over six months to see which treatment offered better relief.
