Jaw pain relief? new study tests simple therapy for TMJ disorders

NCT ID NCT07297251

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how the position of your head affects the movement of your jaw joint (TMJ) in people aged 11 to 65 who are getting braces or dental reconstruction. Researchers will measure jaw and neck motion before and after a hands-on physical therapy program to see if it improves mobility and head alignment. The goal is to better understand the link between head posture and jaw problems, not to test a new drug or cure.
