Summary
This study looked at 27 adults with long-term jaw joint pain that didn't get better with standard treatments. They received a procedure called arthrocentesis, where the joint is flushed with sterile fluid. Researchers used ultrasound to measure changes in the joint capsule width and tracked pain and jaw movement for 6 months.
