New combo aims to shrink untreatable liver tumors

NCT ID NCT07413354

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs—tislelizumab (an immunotherapy) and huaier granule (a traditional Chinese medicine)—as the first treatment for people with liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 94 adults will receive this combination to see if it shrinks tumors and improves quality of life. The goal is to control the disease and ease symptoms, not to cure it.
