Summary
This study compared two medicines—itraconazole and terbinafine—for treating scalp ringworm (tinea capitis) in 164 children aged 1 to 13. The goal was to see which one works better to completely clear the infection. Both treatments are taken by mouth and aim to cure the fungal infection without needing long-term medication.
